Responsibilities
- Perform a range of laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following established protocols and quality control procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test results, and report findings to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical technology and laboratory techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- Licensed Medical Technologist.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance practices.
